iT’S rEBELS rUGBY sEASON
Fall Sports are wrapping up, the leaves have turned and the temperatures have dropped – what does this mean? IT’S RUGBY SEASON!
Rebels Rugby Club has opened the 2023 / 24 season - our High School Girls are finishing up their Fall 7s program and the U8/U10/U12/U14/HS squads are back in training. We are excited to welcome you back to the Rebels Rugby Family and continue to grow your athletes confidence, enjoyment and skill.
What have we got planned for this season? There will be the usual SYRO games after the Winter Break against our friends in other local Georgia youth teams. Watch out for updates on the Open House, Christmas Party, Spirit nights at local venues, opportunities for travel games and community engagement events. We hope you saw our updates on social media on the Roswell Youth Day Parade and Alpharetta Trunk or Treat – players and families from across all our age groups came together in October to represent Rebels Rugby and youth rugby in GA. And have we mentioned its our 10 year anniversary?
For those families that are already on the All Parents Whatsapp group you’ve seen the “Proud Home of a Rebels Rugby player” yard sign sale. (Don’t forget to share photos of your signs in place). Yard signs advertising Rebels Rugby Club will start to pop up in local parks like Sweet Apple, Roswell Area Park and East Roswell and around our local schools and neighborhoods.

If you would like to explore sponsorship opportunities or know a business that would be interested, we have a wide range of packages to suit all budgets that will help Rebels Rugby continue to provide an exceptional, fun and inclusive rugby experience for families in Metro Atlanta.
Reminder that practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays at Elkins Middle School, and all our squads have openings for players experienced or new to rugby. Have friends and neighbors that are curious about rugby? Bring them to a practice or two to try it out. If they want to know “Why rugby”? Come for the skill, stay for the Community, the fun & the inclusivity. Rugby builds confidence, offers a global network, opens college opportunities, and Rebels Rugby supports young athletes in a safe, inclusive, player-centric environment.
